Rob Fathers grew up in Yorkshire. His Father was an accomplished artist and an Associate of the Royal College of Art, with his guidance and encouragement Rob's artistic ability grew quickly and in his youth he won many national painting competitions. He attended the Bradford College of Art and afterwards joined the 'Sharpes Classic' greeting card company as a junior apprentice. Rob Fathers has continued to design for the greeting card industry as well as exhibiting his paintings at the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists and the National Exhibition of Wildlife Artists. He also enjoys giving demonstrations and work shops for local art groups and helping others develop their artistic flair.
