Privacy Policy

Your privacy and right to confidentiality is of great importance to us at Sendacard.co.uk.

For this reason we have reviewed and amended our privacy policy to fully explain what personal data we collect, why and how we treat it. It has also been updated to reflect the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) which are effective from 25th May 2018.

We hope we have put it in easy to understand language (we dislike jargon ourselves) but if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask us, we will be happy to answer them.

Information We Collect & Processing Purposes

If you choose to buy our products or services we will require you to provide certain personal data so we can process your order, data such as contact and identity information and billing information.

It is up to you if you want to create an account with us or not. Orders can be placed with Sendacard.co.uk either as an 'anonymous customer' or as a 'registered customer'. As an 'anonymous customer' personal information is collected purely for the purpose of processing your order but is not retained for subsequent orders. As a 'registered customer' personal information is retained in order to make placing subsequent orders quicker and easier for you.

If you have created an account with us, you can at any time change or update your personal information by signing into your account. If you wish you can delete your profile by signing into your account.

As an 'anonymous customer' or a 'registered customer' we may need to use your contact information in order to contact you if we have a query on your order. You will also receive automated emails updating you on the status of your order, such as emails to say your order is processed or has been shipped.

We do send information out about offers, new products and other items of interest via emails or through our newsletter. We will only send these to you if you have chosen to opt-in to this service, at any time you can chose to opt out of this.

We also have a blog. Again it is up to you as an individual if you wish to subscribe to this blog. You can at any time unsubscribe if you wish.

Information Relating to Your Payment Method

Payment information is never taken by us or transferred to us either through our website or otherwise and we do not have access to it.

With personal orders, at the point of payment, you are transferred to a secure page on the website of either 2Checkout or PayPal and these transactions are subject to their own Privacy Policies. These payment pages are not controlled by us. With corporate orders payment is not taken via the website. We will require payment to be made either via BACS or directly to our PayPal account. Again your details will be treated with the strictest confidentiality.
